Chessboxing Premiere Krasnoyarsk February 2009
Over 500 spectators followed the chessboxing premiere in Krasnoyarsk organised by the newly founded Siberian Chess Boxing Organisation (SCBO) in association with the WCBO.

In the heavyweight division Viktor Tarasov faced Sergeij Ychenko. In a highly competitive fight Ychenko won in the 10. round after Tarasov's chess time had elapsed.

Evgenij Lykhta in the middleweight division displayed the first TKO in Russian chessboxing history against Vitali Degtjarew who could not take advantage in chess where he was leading. He got knocked out in the 4. round.

In the lightweight division Artyr Vardyanyan could not take part due to illness. Instead Galiakhmetov fought against Egor Dolgatchev. The former gave up in the 7. round - a chess round.
